Where Travel Blogging is headed. #TBCAsia videos for the masses.

Buddhist monk at Sigiriya Sri Lanka

Hello!

If you are here, chances are you are interested in what is coming up in the travel blogging scene. Well, the first ever Travel Bloggers Conference Asia 2014 – which was held in Colombo thanks to a partnership between the Professional Travel Bloggers Association PTBA, Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts, Sri Lankan Airlines and a bunch of other sponsors – was a key event I was lucky to attend last month that helped us all to go into detail and talk about this particular topic in a gorgeous environment. Apart from all the sightseeing, networking, workshops and fun behind the scenes, the conference itself on November 18th was an awesome opportunity for everybody attending to discuss where travel blogging is headed.

Luckily for everybody else who was not there, the guys in charge did an excellent job recording and putting together a video with pretty much all the talks of that day there. Here it is.

Although a bit long, this video is an excellent resource you don’t want to miss if travel blogging is something that interests you.

On top of that, if you want to head directly to the slides, on this page is the link you can use to download the TBCAsia presentations. It has never been easier to get all that knowledge anywhere!

Finally, and this is something you will have to actually experience yourself if you are interested, here is another video that shows all the fun previously mentioned, the conference pre-tour around Sri Lanka that took us to amazing places like Sigiriya, Kaudulla National Park and Polonnaruwa in the North Central Province, Galle and Beruwala on the coast, Kandy and Colombo, the capital. Just don’t go crazy with the music volume!

DISCLAIMER

I came to Sri Lanka to take part at a travel bloggers’ conference called TBCAsia, the first of its kind in Asia, along with other 50 international bloggers. Managed by the PTBA, Professional Travel Bloggers Association of which I am a member as well as Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts, Cinnamon Air and Sri Lankan Airlines, this invitation was an excellent opportunity I could just not let go. In any case, all the opinions here are my own.
