The Ultimate Summer Party Destinations

Vodafone Paredes de Coura 2015 music festival – DJ Fra – A World to Travel-24

Our global travels have certainly taken us to some exotic and impressive locations. And so we’re going to do a quick run-down of some of the best destinations that you can choose if you want to let your hair down and do some serious partying!

Most travel blogs tend to choose the somewhat overcrowded tourist destinations such as Ibiza, Rimini, and Ayia Napa, but we’re going to choose some places that offer a more refined selection of pleasures, whether it’s attending a cutting-edge music festival or even visiting a glittering roadhouse.

Spain is one of the most obvious party destinations, and our recent Andalucian trip certainly revealed that cities like Seville really like to stay up late and enjoy the nightlife. But further up the southern coast, it’s Barcelona that keeps pleasure-seekers happy with Gothic Quarter being packed full of atmospheric bars and great live music venues like Jamboree and El Paraiguay.

But it’s music festivals that are perhaps the best way to really enjoy yourself in the summer sun. And the Benicàssim Festival that runs from 14 to 17 July between Valencia and Barcelona provides a great chance to see cool acts like Kendrick Lamar and The Chemical Brothers on the Costa del Azahar.

Further around the Mediterranean, the French Riviera is another great place to unwind in style. With its glamorous beachside towns like Cannes regularly attracting the rich and famous to deluxe partying locations like the renowned Gotha Club, it’s a place where you can really dance with the stars.

Special mention must also be made to Monaco. This tiny city-state is world-famous for its glittering Roadhouse de Monte-Carlo that regularly serves up many extravagant gaming pleasures. But if you’re uncertain of your skills, you can get a bit of practice beforehand by checking out a site to help you out ( here are the codes for the UK of the same).

And seeing as Monaco is just across the border from Italy, it’s only fair to explore some of its top partying destinations too. Tuscany may be more famous for its quaint villages and rolling hills, but each summer the beach town of Forte dei Marmi really comes alive with many beachfront nightclubs playing an impressive selection of chilled-out beats that’ll keep you going well into the sultry summer night!
