How does it sound a three day trip wandering out and about the Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye to properly welcome 2014 after experiencing the blogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh? Well, that’s what we did last week. And we are still amazed at how beautiful that part of the world is.
One comfy mid-size yellow Haggis Adventures minibus with two bold “wild & sexy” and “sensational” slogans; a crazy, incredible fun, knowledgeable dj-driver-tour guide, a group of over 20 young and adventurous individuals coming from every corner of the world, a January like Scottish weather including strong winds and heavy horizontal rain and a stunning land. That’s it. Nothing else matters when the landscape is so amazing you just want to jump off the bus and stay there forever.
From battle fields that witnessed fierce confrontations in the 18th century to surreal peaks among the midst, from cozy towns full of welcoming people to jaw-dropping waterfalls; we hereby name Scotland one of the most incredible destinations in the world. Perfect background for epic trilogies and big productions, we hope you enjoy these shots as much as we did when we visited them.
