Disclaimer: I was invited to visit Milano Marittima by Solemare Hotel, part of Mima Club, a great place you should consider when planning your Milano Marittima holidays. Here’s a review of the same on Minube if you are looking for more info and can read Spanish!
And here is the translation of that review, just in case you want to know how was it right now… in English:
Recently renovated, Club Mima is a good choice if you’re in the lookout for a great hotel in the Riviera Romagna’s beach .. and more.
Mima is Milano Marittima, a seaside town North of Cervia on the Adriatic Riviera. With a significant beach, Mediterranean waters and relaxed atmosphere it is a good place to spend a few days enjoying the beach and the other attractions of the region. Less than half an hour drive or an hour by bike, you can reach interesting spots such as the salt mines of Cervia, the Pineta Park and the Magic Cube with its fishing huts and dozens of protected species.
Mima is also a resort consisting of two hotels, Solemare and Majestic, second line and beachfront respectively and a bed and breakfast property called Isabella. Peperittima Beach Club, a heated pool and several restaurants are also part of the complex.
I had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Solemare for 5 days in an all inclusive basis. With recently renovated rooms and an excellent customer service, it is an option to keep in mind if you visit this area. Quiet and family character, what really caught my attention was the number of newly released bikes that customers could ask for their own use at any time without extra charge. On the other hand, free WiFi coverage is by far the best I’ve experienced in a hotel its kind. No matter where you find yourself, you’re always connected if that’s what you are looking for.
All my meals were served at the Majestic Hotel and Peperittima Beach Club. With an extensive menu and endless buffet dishes, they are the exception to the common thought ‘buffets s*ck’. The majority of their high quality products were locally sourced and they were everything but overcrowded, enjoying a joyful, luminous and overall fantastic atmosphere.
Highly recommended.
