Hotel Chopin Bratislava

Hotel Chopin Bratislava room

Two weeks ago, while visiting Bratislava for a series of 24 hours in european cities, I had the opportunity of staying at Hotel Chopin.

Conveniently located by the airport and a huge mall – Avion shopping centre – this 3-star hotel could easily be given 4*. Really helpful and customer-oriented staff as well as complimentary coffee and tea making facilities in the room, 27″ iMacs to use in the lobby and a lovely breakfast buffet made my stay as comfortable as it can get.

Some details I loved, apart from the much-needed wi-fi everywhere – although for high-speed you should head downstairs – were the fold – out sofa and connecting doors featured in my room. Bathroom was also great showcasing an interesting blue light. Clearly, rooms have had a make-up lately!

Only 15 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes by public transport and you will be in Bratislava’s Old Town, ready to explore the historic buildings and squares, views over the river from the castle, cozy restaurants and cafes and lively nightclubs. And no matter what time you return to the hotel, its lobby bar will be open and serving drinks and snacks 24 hours a day!

Although I was invited by Hotel Chopin, all opinions are my own.
